We
supply top quality Parking Sensor Kits, sold online direct to customers and to
the motor trade. Most customers are happy to purchase our kits and fit them on a DIY basis
but a lot of customers want them fitted, at their home/work or at a local
fitting centre.
The
Opportunity
We aim to keep our customers satisfied by providing them with the service they
want, that means we need a team of fitters throughout the country that is
willing and able to provide a quality fitting service. This is suitable for
established garages or one man and a van.
How it
Works
We sell and
supply the Parking Sensor Kit to the customer. Each fitter
has a pre-agreed territory (ie. your local area/county). When we receive an order
for a kit with installation from a customer in your area then we will ship the
kit directly to the customer and pass on the details to you. You will contact
the customer and arrange a suitable time and place to perform the installation.
You should also request the colour of the customers vehicle if they have
requested to have the sensors colour coded (spray painted). The customer will pay you directly for the fitting
service on completion of the installation.
How much
can I make?
It is up to
you how many Parking Sensor kits you install, where you fit them and how big
your territory is. It takes approximately 2 hours to
fit a standard rear sensor kit. We operate a fixed price list so if you want
to fit parking sensors for our customers then we need you to agree to align your
prices with the following labour only installation price list for jobs
that we pass to you:
(1)
Installation of Rear only
Audible alert system £90.00
(2)
Installation of Audible
alert front only parking sensor kit with manual dash mount switch £100.00
(3)
Installation of Front & Rear
parking Sensor kit with manual dash mount switch £180.00
(4)
Sensor Colour coding service
(spray paint to match customer car), additional £20.00
The above prices are for Labour only and are inclusive of VAT, if applicable. We
will supply the parking sensor kit which will be sent directly to the customer.
What are
my costs?
You have no
direct costs with us, we work on a free referral basis. We provide this service to you on the basis that we can sell more Parking Sensor Kits. We are
not interested in fitting or making money from the fitting services offered by
you.
Can I
sell your Parking Sensor kits as well as fit them?
Yes, we can
sell them to our fitters at trade price, which you may resell. Contact
us for more information.
What
qualifications and experience do I need?
No formal
qualifications are needed. You should have the necessary experience to fit
parking sensors to customer cars. We ask
that you review the fitting
instructions to satisfy yourself that you are able to do the job. You must
be comfortable with drilling into car bumpers and knowledge of 12v car
electrics is required. We do expect you to provide a quality service and we will
periodically perform customer satisfaction surveys. We will instantly remove any
fitter from our referral list if we receive more than 3 customer complaints a
year (or 10%, whichever is greater).
Do you
have a training course for fitting parking sensor kits?
Yes, we
offer a half day "hands on" workshop training course with one of our most
experienced fitters. Please Contact
us for more information.
What
tools, transport or premises do I need?
Basic tools
are needed to fit the Parking Sensor Kits, review the fitting
instructions for more details. If you intend to provide a mobile fitting
service then reliable transport is also required. It is up to you whether you provide
the fitting service from your premises or a mobile service (or both). You must ensure that
you obtain the required insurance to work on other people vehicles, to protect
yourself in the event of an accident.
